Site Feasibility Review

Can Your Yard Host a Rose Home?

Every Rose Home begins with the land itself. Before a single line is drawn, we review your property the way an expert should — honestly, thoroughly, and in plain language — so you know exactly what your yard can hold.

01

Zoning & ADU Rules

We review your local zoning and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) rules. Florida law — including the state’s ADU statute, §163.31771 — encourages backyard homes, but the details vary by city and county, and we sort out what applies to your address.

02

Lot Size & Setbacks

We measure your lot and map the setbacks — the required distances from property lines and existing structures — to find where a Rose Home can sit and how much home your yard can graciously hold.

03

Utility Access

A backyard home needs water, sewer or septic, and electric service. We check how your property connects today and what a new residence would need to tie in cleanly.

04

Tree & Structure Assessment

A Rose Home is designed around your property’s trees — the canopy is the architecture. We assess the trees and any existing structures so the design belongs to the land from the very first sketch.

05

Construction Access

We look at how crews, materials, and equipment would reach the build site — gates, lanes, and clearance — so the path from blueprint to backyard is planned, not improvised.

06

Your Feasibility Report

You receive a clear, plain-language summary of what we found and what comes next, so you can move into design with confidence — or pause with real information in hand.

The summaries on this page are general information about the feasibility review process, not legal advice. Zoning and ADU rules are set by your city or county and can change; your review is based on the rules in effect for your property.
